Arriving here in 94’ Emma attended OCA and then went onto complete a fashion arts program at Humber College. After interning at fashion magazine for the events department and working on a number of fashion shows for Cadillac Fairview, Emma went onto become a Visual Merchandiser with Club Monaco, Boutique Jacob and Jacob Annexe.
Fast Forward to 98’ Emma started to dabble with styling by 01’ Emma had left merchandising and was picked up by The Plutino Group where she worked with clients such as Alanis Morrisette, Chart Magazine, Today’s Bride, Harlequin Romance, Marc Anthony Hair Salons and Bruce Mau, as well as styling and co-producing fashion shows for Loreal Fashion Week, The Fashion Incubator and Ink.
By 02’ Emma had appeared on Crimes of Fashion as a fashion expert styling real people, then after a short stint of interning at Fashion magazine again this time in fashion editorial department. 04’ went on to appear on Sexy Girl. By 05’ she had a makeover fashion segment geared towards making over new Mum’s and the occasional Dad on “The Mom Show” which she continued to style and co-produce until 07’.
At the end of 07’ fashionJACK was formed where Emma produced fashion events for companies such as Joe Fresh, Shoppers Drugmart, Gagou Tagou and Chio Di Stefania D as well as brand repositioning for clients such as Karbon Athletic and Principessa.
Now Emma as well as being one of the key fashion experts at Vive la Mode also maintains a small list of clients and attends guest speaking spots and seminars teaching people how to translate fashion into everyday and how to dress for their body type lifestyle and colouring catering to their budget.
